The island of Paros
Paros will really bring you in the atmosphere of the cyclades with its beautiful and joyful music. Specific for the island are the mills and the rockformations with its strange forms at the north of the island (Kolimvythres). Don't visit the island the last two weeks of July or the first two weeks of August unless you like to walk over the heads of tourists. During that time there is often lack of drinking water. It is a very pleasant island and there are a lot of eating and drinking possibilities in the capital. Most of them at the long kay. It is quit a trip from Pireaus by boat, but it is really worth it. At the eastside of the island there are several surfing and other watersport provisions.
